Why democracy is considered to be the best form of government? Explain. ​

Democracy is considered to be better than other forms of government because of the following reasons:

• It is a more accountable form of government.
• It provides a method to deal with differences and conflicts.
• It improves the quality of decision making.
• It enhances the dignity of citizens.
• It allows us to correct ITS own mistakes.

• people have their rights and duties
• the government listen to the people's opinion
• people have right to protest and strike against unaccepted laws
• people are involved in lawmaking
• there is no discrimination on the bases of caste , they have reservations in school ,jobs,etc.
• power is shared in the government avoiding accumulation of power in one hand ( dictatorship)
• the prime minister is changed every five year no party can be in power forever
