why democracy is not possible without universal adult franchise ?

The main feature of democratic country is the right of the people to express their needs and wants. In a democratic country people themselves can elect their rulers for them. Here rulers are the servants of people. So ...it is through them that people speaks. So, to select the rulers they are voting and it's a main feature of democracy. So , if there is no adult franchise, people can't select their rulers , then they can't make sounds for their rights and needs. In this condition the main value of democracy goes down. So democracy is not possible without universal adult franchise....

Universal Adult Franchise states that all people irrespective of their caste,creed,color,religion,etc. has the right to vote and elect their favorite representatives.
Democracy means government By The People,For The People and Of The People.
Hence, Democracy is not possible without universal adult Franchise, which allows people the freedom to elect their representatives without any discrimination.
