Diamond is used in making jewellery bcoz

×It has excellent brilliance(shining capacity)

It shines due to total internal reflection

×it is hard, so nothing additional has to be added to it, as in the case of gold

×It doesn't have(very less) impurities in it in its purest form

×Very rare occurence in the earth's crust
