why did Akbar decide to make the teacher minister

Since the teacher gave him satisfactory answers which made King Akbar quite happy hence he decided to make him a minister.

Explanation:

Birbal was, however, forbidden from court since he was throwing a tantrum at the King. Later, When King Akbar needed help Birbal could not be found anywhere hence he decided to find himself a new advisor.

So to replace Birbal he asked his court members to examine the wise men. For this purpose, a teacher and two students came to the court and claimed to be wiser than ever Birbal was.
