Answer: Alice sat down and cried because she had shrunk too small and could not get the key to the door from the table. She had tried to climb the table’s slippery leg and failed.

This excerpt is from the famous novel “Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland”. It was written by an English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson back in 1865. The story revolves around an young girl who fell in to a rabbit hole and fantasies that happening after that.

Alice was chasing a rabbit and fell into the rabbit hole.

She was unable to come out of the hole as no keys could unlock the doors.

Suddenly she found a small door, but it was not big enough to pass through.

She noticed a drink labelled drink me.

She drank it and her size shrunk from coming out of the door, but the keys were on the tabletop and beyond her reach.

So she sat and started to cry.
