Equality is an outdated concept. Many ideological principles tried to bring in equality, but resulted in poor productivity, and the standard of living diminished. People are longing for better living conditions instead of looking for equality. The concept of freedom is also being looked down, if a choice is given for improving the standard of living. That is why many people are settling down in advanced countries. Socialistic nation’s attempts to introduce equality, failed, because of low productivity, and many of them switched over to market economy. Without development, a nation cannot survive, because of war hysteria, that is prevailing with many nations. Defense preparedness is not possible without development, and the concept of equality is not good for development. Most of the advanced countries, are living on market economy, and India too, may have to live with that.
