Ambedkar stressed on constitutional methods for achieving  social objectives because other means such as non-cooperation or violence resulted in only loss and anarchy.

• Dr. Ambedkar was of the view that methods such as civil disobedience, noon- cooperation can only help if we are fighting against alien powers, such methods were of no use when fighting with our own higher authorities.
• In a state which was already democratic, such means of violence were not required.
• He stressed that use of constitutional methods was the only possible way to achieve social objectives, using of non-constitutional methods would lead to loss of lives, discipline and properties.
