When Anne was in the secret annexe she felt loneliness and listless.She had many thoughts in her mind . But there was no one who listen her thoughts carefully and patiently. Then she confide that paper has more patient than a man, because there was no boundation of time limit she could write everything on paper . So, she keep a diary as a true friend.

The diary named kitty is the best friend to whom she can share anything. It is the gift given to Anne on her 13 th birthday .she thinks that it is the best gift of her life . After Anne receives her diary she doesn't feel lonely. she mention all the things which happen in the secret annex . she describe each and every member of the annex in her diary . even Anne writes about her love peter in her diary .
