Furthermore, Antonio's action also undercuts Shylock and forces him to lower his interest rates in order to get others to borrow from him.

4)The biggest reason Antonio lends money without charging any interest.This business of Antonio affected many of the money lenders of Venice as it brings down the rate of interest in Venice..
