Why did aram did not beleived his eyes whatever he saw outside the window?

Aram didn't beleive his eyes because he knew that their tribe was very poor they even don't know how they get the food to eat not even the old members of the tribe knew it. so in such a condition he can't beleive that his brother has brought a horse.
