Ashoka was a great worrier who fought lots of wars. In his last war, he had to battle against all of his 100other brothers for the kingdom and becoming the king. He won the war and all of his brothers were dead. When he saw the place, he could only find blood every where. So, to seek peace he had to propagate to Buddhism.
