Reason for Banda Bahadur fail to strengthen the Sikh Power:

  • Banda Bahadur was keen to unite the lower caste and peasants to fight against Mughals, which was not favored by higher caste Sikhs. So they joined their opponents and revolted against Banda Bahadur.
  • After the demise of Guru Gobind Singh, he took control. He is also known as Madho Das and was in service for eight years. He lost the battle against Mughals. As a result, he was tortured and killed by Mughals.
