why did barter system failed???

Choudhary1Saab: Lack of Double Coincidence of Wants:Barter transactions can be possible only when two persons desiring exchange of commodities should have such commodities which are mutually needed by each other. For example, if A wants cloth, which B has, then A should have such commodity which B wants.

Barter system failed because those people who need potatoes and with whom he/she suppose to share if they don't want then they can't able to get potatoes and in this way there will be a disunity between people
