This question is from the story “Bholi” by K.A. Abbas.

Bholi’s mother favoured Bishamber as a suitable husband for Bholi for several reasons. To begin with, she felt that Bholi was lucky to be even getting married, because she was not beautiful and had smallpox marks on her face. The groom, Bishamber, was not aware of this. Also, he owned a big grocery store and a house. Bholi’s mother had also heard that he had quite some savings in the bank. Considering all these factors, Bholi’s mother thought that Bholi would be financially settled if she married Bishamber, and so felt that he was a suitable groom, despite his being her father’s age.
