But after some time the people of India had to face severe hardships bcs the Indian goods were very expensive as compared to British goods and there was no income for the people to sustain. • Khadi cloth was often more expensive than mass produced mill cloth and poor people could not afford to buy it.

• Similarly, the boycott of British institutions posed a problem.
