The English wanted to annex Sindh as their only rival, Ranjit Singh was now dead. Sir Charles Napier was sent to enquire into the whole situation.
1. He forced the Amirs by his offensive conduct to raise a standard to revolt.
2. Acting on an excuse of curbing the revolt, Napier routed the Amirs of Sindh in the Battles of Miani and Dabo.
3. He annexed Sindh to the British empire in 1843and the Amirs were forced out of Sindh.
4. In this way the annexation of Sindh without any valid reasons was fully unjust.
