Calpurnia tried to prevent Caesar form going to the senate house because she had seen dreams which signifies bad omen. She did not succeed because Decius Brutus appeals to the ambitious side of Caesar and forces Caesar to go to the Senate , where the senators are waiting to offer a crown to Caesar.
