Charles wanted everyone to know about this serious problem so he wrote a novel named hard times . It describes coketown a fictious industrial town as a grim place full of machinery smoking chimneys where river polluted purple and building s that all looked the same hair workers are known as hands as if they don't have identity .Dickens had criticized not just the greed but also the ideas that makes humans as instrumemts  of production
