why did civil war break put in sri Lanka list the reasons

because of the discrimination shown by the Sinhala speaking people who try to make themselves as superior as there are more Sinhala people. Thus majoritism occurs and they doesn't give politic freedom or opportunities to the minor Tamil people. The proffestional and government jobs are only applied to Sinhala people. This made Tamil people to organise several parties and struggles, but they were denied. So this created a civil war.
