Why did dolly at first agreed to marry Bishamber but then refused to do so do you think she did the right thing what have you done in such a situation

Bholi agreed to marry him because of respect of her father. She later refused to marry him because he had demanded a dowry of 5000. And she did not want to marry a mean and greedy person. Bholi had done the right thing by not marrying him. I would have done the same in such a situation
