Actually, during eclipse the sun or moon isn't visible at its usual time ,N it was quite dark. so, as our ancestors didn't know the exact phenomena, they felt afraid of darkness. After this , Wid this confusion about their reasons, many superstioins came up about this . So they got afraid gradually
