Einstein wrote a letter to Franklin Roosevelt because of following reasons :-

⇒ Einstein emigrated to the United States because establishment of control of Nazis in the Germany.

⇒ It was true that the Nazis had the capability to design the atomic bomb.

⇒ This atmic bomb could demolish the whole world.

⇒ Therefore , he wrote a letter to Franklin Roosevelt to warn him , about the distruction which can be caused by atomic bomb.

EXTRA INFORMATION :-

• The date when he wrote the letter was August , 1939.
• Actually , Einstein was insisted by his fellow scientist , Leo Szilard write the letter to Franklin Roosevelt and he also assisted him in drafting the letter.
