British landlords pushed their peasants off the land successfully. Those peasants became a very large supplier of labourers that could be used to work in the new factories that were just built up.
Hence, they were the first successful industrial nation.

England became the first industrial nation because British landlords were able to remove their peasants off of their property. Those peasants that were pushed away became a large group of labor and new factories could use them. This is why England came to be the first industrial nation.
