Why did England forbid the sale of wool, sugar, molasses, and tobacco from the colonies to other countries?

It was the time of industrialization in England and the colonial goods were taking place of ready made English goods .So in order to grow their own industry they made unlawful policies on trade and even forbidden many colonial goods. For example, the Indian textile was very popular in Europe but British policies drown it.
