Swami was a weak and timid boy who was afraid of darkness. His father wanted him to grow into brave and courageous and he also didn't want him to be afraid of darkness. So, Swami's wanted to sleep alone in the office room.

Swami had a habit of sleeping beside his granny as he was afraid of darkness. When his father challenged him to sleep alone in the office room and all his excuses were not accepted by his father, he felt that his father suggestion was frightful. At last, he was compelled to sleep in the office room.
