Detective Fix became suspicious that Mr Phileas Fogg was the robber due to these reasons
1) He left London just after the bank robbery
2)passepartout said to Detective Fix that a carpet bag Fogg was carrying 20,000 pounds
3)Phileas Fogg managed to tie the captain and take over the ship.This convinced fix that Phileas Fogg was the robber
