The Last Lesson
Franz was an open minded boy who never preferred to learn his french lessons. M. Hamel was his french teacher and Franz was very scared of him and his great iron ruler. The order passed from Berlin to teach only German instead of French language in the schools of Alsace and Lorraine, that was the last day of M. Hamel when he teach his last lesson. On that day M. Hamel was teaching with great concentration and also even explaining a single word. By this Franz found the last lesson very easy and he realised that he could be the best in French if he tried to learn.
