no doubt the large political and social issues along with the economic issues were important for gandhiji. but Gandhi's approach was very comprehensive.it was not enough to fight against officials and governments.the equally important task was to do something to improve the cultural and social backwardness in champaran village. first of all Gandhi stress on education appeared for the teachers. mahadev Desai and narhari Parikh what do young persons.they and their wives volunteer themselves for the work. several more came from Bombay Pune and other parts of India. Gandhi's son devdas also joined them as well as kasturba to came from the ashram. kasturba taught the ashram rules on cleanliness and sanitation. primary school for opened in six villages of champaran.health conditions in the villages were really measurable Gandhi got a doctor to volunteer his service for 6 month. to start with only three medicines were available name the castor oil v9 and the sulphur ointment.he ask kasturba to take up the cause of women and talk them about their issues.so Gandhi tried his level best to do something to improve the culture and social backwardness of villages in champaran.and if you need the questions for the whole chapter or for the whole two books you can contact me I am having the questions according to the board point of view.
