THE ACTIVITIES WHICH GIVE RISE TO NON COOPERATION MOVEMENT WERE  :

1)  THE CONDITION CREATED BY FIRST WORLD WAR ,IT LEAD TO HUGE INCREASE IN DEFENCE  WHICH WAS FINANCED BY TAXES FROM INDIAN PEOPLE,PRICES OF MANY GOOD ROSE UP ,FORCEBLY RECRUITEMENT OF INDIAN PEOPLE IN ARMY BY BRITISHERS CREATED ANGER AMONG PEOPLE.

2) GANDHI JI'S RETURN TO INDIA FROM SOUTH AFRICA , HE LAUNCHED MANY SATAYAGRAHAS IN INDIA AT VARIOUS PLACES , WHICH GIVE BASE TO THIS MOVEMENT.

3)THE ROWLATT ACT PASSED BY IMPERIAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY , TO GIVE ENORMOUS POWER TO POLICE TO ARREST ANY ONE WITHOUT TRIAL ALSO SPREAD ANGER AMONG PEOPLES.

4)THE JALLIANWALA BAGH INCIDENT, PEOPLE WERE ALREADY AGAINST THE ROWLATT ACT BUT THIS DREADFUL  INCIDENT MAKE CROWD OF PEOPLE TO STRIKE AGAINST BRITISHERS.

5)UNITED STRUGGLE WITH MUSLIMS IN KHILAFAT MOVEMENT ALSO HELP  OR GIVE OPPURTUNITY TO GANDHIJI TO CALL ON THIS MOVEMENT.
