-Gandhiji called non cooperation movement because he believes that because of Indians Britishers are ruling in India and if Indians start boycotting Britishers and British things then Britishers cannot rule in India and leave India very soon and as soon as they leave India Swaraj will come back all these things he wrote in his book Hind Swaraj

- so he inspired others
to stopped cooperating with Britishers and start avoiding there things this movement was followed by many people in different ways

-students stop going to government schools and teachers also give resign to the Government schools.

-and the lawyers of the government Court also give resign

- the liquor shop was also banned which was a type protest.

- and all the British clothes were boycotted instead of British clothes Gandhiji motivated people to wear Khadi clothes which is quite costly than British clothes therefore poor people cannot took part in this movement but they took part in other ways...
