gandhi ji organise satyagraha in 1917 becz at the time the crop of farmers get destroyed and now they are not able to pay the taxes ....

The Satyagraha was to protest against the high revenue demand. Because at the time of epidemic and plague...the farmers were unable to pay the high revenue so..to support these peasents Gandhiji held Satyagraha...
