Why did gandhi scold the lawyers at champaran?

Gandhi chided the lawyers who represented the interest of group of sharecroppers of Champaran because of two reasons- for charging high fees from poverty stricken peasants and for taking the lawsuits to the court where the people, the lawyers, the judges and the law was Britisher and hence they were useless and instead the peasants were crushed and fear stricken.

because the lawyers are not behaving good to farmers and also not doing thier work . They is asking for some miney as well. so Gandhiji scold them .
