Why did Gandhiji advocate non cooperation towards the end of the British rule?​

Gandhiji felt that British rule had survived only because of Indian corporation and if we refuse to cooperate, then it would come to an end.

He lost all faith in the goodness of the British government and declared that it would be a "sin" to cooperate with the "satanic" government. Indian Muslims who had participated in the Khilafat movement to restore the status of the Caliph gave their support to the non-cooperation movement.

The noncooperation movement was supported and advocated by many indian leaders. The movement was founded by Mahatma Gandhi who was so influential to the people of india. It was fomed after the massacre of jallianwala bagh. Gandhi Ji advocated for it because it was a movement that was meant to rebel the british ruling in india. The resisting was done through nonviolent means.
