Why did Gandhiji decide to withdraw the ‘Non-Cooperation Movement’ in

Gandhi ji decided to withdraw the 'Non cooperation movement ' in Februrary, 1992 coz this non cooperation movement results in mass killing of local peoples and they were loosing their lifes without any reasons several police officera were also killed in that movement .
