After the packing had been done completely, George asked them what time he should wake them up tomorrow to get ready for their excursion. Jim and Harris began arguing. Jim wanted to get up at 6 whereas Harris was willing to get up at 7. It was compromised that they would get up at 6:30. As they told George to wake them up at 6:30, they received no response from George. As they looked at him, they found him sleeping and snoring.

George made no answer because he was already asleep while author and Harris where arguing over the time to wake up.
