I think he invaded india just to loot its wealth and take that loot to his own country

ghazni attacked india bcoz:-
1. he was attracted with the riches found in india, specially the gold, silver and many more precious metals found here.
2. he wanted to take as much of those precious metals in his kingdom to decorate his capital fort with all those gems, gemstones and all those precious metals.
3. that's why he invaded india and took away so many precious metals, gemstones and gems.
4. whilst invading india, he destroyed quite a lot of temples and plundered them like anything.
