May be Its because of statutory warnings..Cigarette packets contains statutory warning message where as Maggi has been falsely promoted as healthy food...Selling of cigarettes to juvenile is banned in India where as Maggi is mainly children's all time favorite....

Maggi was banned by the government because lead pb was found in it in a large amount which is harmfull to the health.
