Guantanamo bay situated in Cuba, was a detention camp constructed in 2002, by the United States to house the suspected and captured terrorists of war.

Red Cross was the only outside organisation who had access to the bay and it revealed the abuse and tortures undergone by the prisoners. The mental health of the prisoners was deteriorating. So it was brought to the attention of international community.
