One day Miss Sullivan captured a great horseshoe crab from the sea water. When she showed it to Helen, the latter got so excited and intrigued about it that she decided to keep it as a pet and brought it home. She told Miss Sullivan to keep it in water through near the well. But, next morning the creature had disappeared. It had perhaps returned to the sea. Helen felt very disappointed at the disappearance of the horseshoe crab. Little by little she came to realize that it was not kind nor wise to force the crab to live out of its natural environment. She felt happy guessing perhaps it had returned to the sea.
