hitler was from germany,the treaty of versailles was a harsh and humiliating peace for germany. Germany lost its overseas colonies,a 10th of its population,13% of its territories,75% of its iron,26% of its coal and it was given to lithuania,france,poland and denmark. the war guilt was blamed on germany and the country was forced to pay a compensation of 6 billion euros. other countries also occupied rhineland which belonged to germany. to take revenge and to make germany great again, Hitler broke the treaty.
