Why did Huck think that Tom Sawyer fooled him at the end of the story?

Huck took an old tin lamp and an iron ring, and wend out in the forest to see if Tom was telling the truth about the magic lamps and genies. He rubbed the lamp till he was sweating but it was of no use as no genies appeared. Hence, Huck found that it was all Tom Sawyer's lies
