Why did India export trade decline in the 19th century?​

Answer:Bcs in the 19th century India was turned into a colonial empire. Britishers levied high taxes on exported goods whereas british goods was imported tax free or with nominal tax. as a result of this the industries in India started declining in 19 the century.
