Why did India opt for parliamentary system of government ?? pls answer it today itself and also please answer in 50-70 words

India adopt parliamentary system because they were familiar with this system. Second a democratic execute must satisfy two conditions :stability and responsibility while British system gives more responsibility less stability. So at the time of drafting constitution parliamentary system of executive has preferred more responsibility to more stability. Third, framers of constitution wanted to avoid conflicts between legislature and executive which were bound to occur in presidential system. Fourth, India is one of the most heterogeneous states and most plural socities in the world. So, they adopted this system as it offers greater scope for giving representation to various sections, interests and regions and promote national spirit among people and builds a united india
