Why did industrial production in India increase during the First World War ? give any three reasons?

during WW1, the industries in England were used to meet the war demands of the British army.as a result imports to india decreased.this created an opportunity for indian industries to flourish.moreover,the industrial production in england was not sufficient to meet the war demands,so indian industries were asked to cater to the needs of the british army.
