During the first world war the British industries were busy in supplying the products to fulfil the wars need. So at that time, the import of British goods in India decline. And the Indian businessmen were called upon to supply jute bags, cotton clothes,medicines and so on. In this way the first world war booned the Indian industries and the industrial production of India increases.
