1.When we got independence we needed energy for working as needed water .

2.Also America had said that India is Country of rivers.

3.The reason for that they declared because of that the mail occupation if India is agriculture .

4.In modern India light is most important thing of daily life mostly all the works are done by electricity .

5.Electricity is produced by water are through dams.

6.Any work can't be done without the help of water.

He said this statement during the opening of bhakhra dam.
