When Juliet was still sleeping because of the potion, Romeo came into the tomb and found her with all the other corpses. He thought she was dead even though she still had color in her face and lips. Romeo said his goodbye's to Juliet because he was planning to take his life. The Friar tries to keep him from killing himself, but it doesn't work. Romeo drinks all of the poison he got from the Apothecary. He says his last words to her and falls dead next to her. Juliet wakes up from the sleeping potion and finds Romeo dead next to her. She finds the poison bottle and kisses his lips to see if there would be enough poison to kill her also, but there wasn't. She says her final goodbye to Romeo and takes her own life with Romeo's dagger. She chose to kill herself after she found Romeo dead because she loved him and he's the only man she wanted to be with. Juliet also wanted to be with him in heaven and have eternal life together.
