Kevin's grandmother asked her to give a birthday present to him on his birthday. She made a pin - cushion using some sheets of paper which she found on her mother's bed table. Those sheets contained her father's important speech, but she tore the pages. so, her father punished her touching things which did not belong to her.

Answer:

The story 'The little girl' is written by 'Katherine Mansfield'.

Kezia was very afraid of her father as he was very strict and never even played with her. On a very fine day, Kezia's Grandmother said her that her father's birthday is approaching the next month and advised her to make some gift for him. She decided to make a pin cushion out of beautiful yellow silk. She stuffed the cushion with some torn pieces of paper which she found in her parents' bedroom's table which were actually her father's paper for the port authority.

Her father intended to punish her as she touched the things that did not belong to her.

Hope this helps!
