This was a story written by Katherine Mansfield tilted " The little Girl ". The main characters in the story were kezia and his father and the story revolves around these two. Rather then them, there were kezia's and her grandmother too. So, Kezia was a silent nature girl who didn't used to speak in fromt of her father as she was afraid of him.

Once, she decided to give a unforgettable gift to his father on his birthday and there when her grand mother gave her idea to make pin cushion for him. Unfortunately, she was unaware about the important speech paper which was on the table , and she used them as a filling in cushion. When his father asked her, about the paper she slightly refused. And when her father come to know about this he got quite mad at her and beaten her hand by ruler.

This behaviour of his father is somewhat Wrong, because as a parent he must first make her understand that we do not have to take anyone's stuff without his / her permission or it's even okay if he schold her a bit but beating is not the right thing he does. Parents firstly should make her child understand what's wrong and right before scholding or beating up.
