why did Lakshmana Sastry Summon the new teacher

Abdul Kalam wore a cap and his friend ,the sacred thread. these showed them as a Muslim and a Hindu .the new teacher who came to the class did not like it. the teacher couldn't tolerate a Hindu priest son sitting with a Muslim boy. He asked Abdul Kalam to go and sit on the backbench. His friend Ramanadha Sastry felt very sad and he reported it to his parents.
